Meet Chef Will Sams.

Chef Will Sams has built his career around serving Southern food made from heirloom and locally sourced ingredients. He is passionate about helping the local food scene grow and flourish by supporting local farmers, purveyors, and fishermen.

Although Sams is a Gulf Coast native, he was trained at the respected Culinary Institute of America in New York and has worked in kitchens around the South.  He has a number of years of experience under his belt, including working with the New Orleans-based Link Restaurant Group, Cochon, Fishers, and playing an integral role in the opening of Playa in Orange Beach.   

His new restaurant, Pearl, is in the heart of historic downtown Fairhope, Alabama. The menu celebrates southern but contemporary favorites and highlights the outstanding seafood mecca that is the Gulf Coast.

Cozy up in the dining room or belly up to the bar and dive into fan-favorite grilled oysters or try one of the signature dishes like the Seafood Gumbo.
